Eric has 2 Challenge Certificates, the first he gained at Crufts 2014 under breed specialist Mr Nigel Craddock and the second under breed specialist Mrs Margaret Bett.

He has sired 2 lovely litters. In his first litter, the dog puppy we kept (Daryl) was Top Curly Coated Retriever Puppy in 2015, and the dog that Nicolina Gustafsson took to Sweden (Gunvald) has just gained his blood tracking Champion title. From Eric’s second litter, the bitch puppy we kept (Rita) was awarded, at her first two Championship Shows, Best Puppy in Breed at Manchester CHSH & Best Puppy in Breed at Crufts 2017.

Daryl started his show career off with a bang! At just 6 month old he was awarded Best Puppy in Show at the Curly Coated Retriever Club Championship show 2015, by breed specialist Mrs Sue Brookes. Then at 7 month old he was awarded Reserve Best Puppy in Show at National Gundog Championship show  by Mrs Brenda Hutchinson. Daryl is consistently placed at shows, and has received a number of Best of Breeds at open shows and a Gundog group 2 placing at Retford Open show. He has also been awarded 4 Reserve Challenge Certificates.

Daryl has sired two promising litters, a couple of pups from his first litter are due to debut in the show ring in May, and a couple of pups from his second litter will debut at the Curly Coated Retriever Championship show in July.
